Derek previously worked as an industrial electrician for 7 years then went on to work in the controls and automation field for 9 years before beginning his career here at BCU in 2020

Farming

What's something you're proud of achieving/accomplishing while here at BCU?

Derek is most proud of being a part of something so grand that it allows for him to regularly build panels that are used in the United Kingdom

What's the best advice you've received/heard?

What advice would you give your younger-self?

"Listen more, talk less. Move to Wyoming the first chance that you get"

What might people not know about you?

Derek is strong in his faith, enjoys traveling with his wife and five kids and is a MAJOR history buff! He also enjoys art; charcoal is his media of choice
