Barb started drafting following the completion of CAD trade classes and has since earned a combined 40 years of experience both in office and in the field as a CAD designer.

What was your first job?

Worked part time with Marr Knapp and Crawfis Architect and Engineers when drafting was still done by hand

What's something you're proud of achieving/accomplishing while here at BCU?

Barb is most proud of setting up new CAD drafting standards and templates that have been used across the field

What's the best advice you've received/heard?

"Work hard, be loyal and make the best of every day; things can change in a blink of an eye"

What advice would you give your younger-self?

"Don't second guess yourself; follow your dream of seeing the world"

What three things best describe BCU?

Quality, caring and ambitious growth

What's something you think everyone should try once?

Ride in a NASCAR, hike a dormant volcano (only to find out the neighboring volcano was on the edge of erruption), and take a motorcycle ride out to Lake Louise and Glacier National Park in Alberta, Canada!

What might people not know about you?

Barb is a horse enthusiast with hidden artistic abilities and is also a self-proclaimed jet setter/adventurer
